Climate activist Greta Thunberg recently tweeted her dire need for a ride back home to Sweden after learning that the COP25 officially moved from Santiago to Madrid, according to The Pluralist. The 16-year-old attended the U.N. summit in New York via boat to avoid emissions being further pumped into the air.
Thunberg has created a name for herself after condemning world leaders for “destroying her future with their inaction” while attending one of the climate conferences held in New York at the United Nations. “As #COP25 has officially been moved from Santiago to Madrid, I’ll need some help,” Thunberg tweeted. “It turns out I’ve traveled half around the world, the wrong way,” her tweet continued. She received mediocre responses from some who offered travel and others who suggested she use her celebrity status to get back home.
