Claims of an extramarital affair recently surfaced from former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown, 84, who shared with the San Francisco Chronical that he was romantically linked with 2020 presidential hopeful and Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif.
In the article, Brown admits that his involvement with Harris may have even helped to boost her career. “Yes, I may have influenced her career by appointing her to two state commissions when I was California Assembly speaker,” Brown said during his interview.
“I certainly helped with her first race for district attorney in San Francisco,” Brown continued. Much of Brown’s push to share his past relationship with Harris has been linked to his own arrogance, according to a reporter for Playgirl. Brown did not share information regarding his past relationship with Harris until she announced her desire to throw herself into the 2020 presidential bid. Neither Harris nor anyone from her staff have been available for comment.
