The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan went toe-to-toe in a heated exchange with Queen Elizabeth that led to Her Majesty suggesting that they leave for good, according to a report on Radar Online. The feud between the couple and Queen Elizabeth began after an interview the couple did for a documentary entitled Harry and Meghan: An African Journey which was held during their visit to Africa.
In the interview, the couple were open and honest about the problems facing their individual relationships with other members of the royal family. The interview sparked rage in Queen Elizabeth and led to her taking down the couple’s wedding photo in the audience room of the palace. Upon returning from their trip to Africa, the couple were summoned by Her Majesty and then told that they needed to calm down. “She told them to stop claiming they’d single-handedly modernized the monarchy,” stated a senior palace source. After the couple requested a six-week getaway from palace life, Her Majesty exploded and stated that they should go for good.
