An unidentified mother wrote a contract for her son’s friends to sign prior to their sleeping over for the night, according to Working Mother. The contract included language that warned the young party guests that failing to follow the agreement would result in their no longer having the ability to visit their friend at their home. The contract was posted by the mother and then shared with others who immediately found the agreement to be ridiculous.
According to the contract which was posted by the mother on Reddit, there was to be no touching or tickling during the sleepover, and that complaining for any reason would not be tolerated. Additionally, the contract stated that excessive volume or voice while playing the tv or iPad was not tolerated. The contract received hundreds of comments from individuals who could not understand the purpose of such a serious agreement.
“This lady’s kids are going to have NO friends,” commented one person who read the agreement. Most simply wondered how the parents felt about their children signing an agreement for a sleepover.
