Congressional Republicans are now pushing legislation to help law enforcement take guns from those who pose n imminent danger, according to The New York Times. If this measure is signed into law, it will be the most significant gun control legislation enacted in 20 years, according to the report. The increase in attention to improving legislation on gun control came after the back-to-back shootings that have occurred in a short period of time.
Although Republicans are typically in support of the right to possession of a firearm, they were clear in their discussion that something needs to be implemented right away to address the ongoing shootings that are occurring much to frequently. “We must do something and that is exactly what we are going to do,” stated Ohio, Gov. Mike DeWine. The El Paso shooting has many members of the Congressional party in the agreement, whether Democrat or Republican, that the red flag laws must be addressed, improved, and implemented right away.

Only people dumb as a box of rock think Red Flag laws will work. The alleged “DUE PROCESS” will be laborious and complicated and due process will not only become a joke without teeth it will fail, just like the ban on “Assault Weapons” was a failure…CRAZY needs to be address in a person’s youth and development, not as an adult who has gotten away with bad behavior over the years… meantime the lunatic who thinks the court is about to take his gun by force will act quickly. The strongest gun laws are in Chicago and last weekend 40 people were shot…how’s that working for you? A man with a gun stops a lunatic with a gun, but what is missing from this stupid Red Flag crap is the simple fact that of all the gun violence we have experienced in 20 years not a single one was perpetrated by a member of the NRA, yet the assholes in our House and Senate want to destroy this organization. Their Socialists control over society is becoming quite obvious…
