Rosanda Taylor, 35, is charged with aggravated arson and aggravated domestic battery after she allegedly held a knife to her husband’s throat and started a fire in her home, according to True Crime Daily.
The incident occurred in Aurora, Illinois, after Taylor got into an argument with her husband over her suspicion of his cheating with another woman. When the police arrived onto the scene, they discovered a fire inside of the bedroom. Taylor, her husband, and their two children ages 5 months and 12 years were all able to escape the home unharmed.
Police investigation revealed that Taylor held a knife to her husband’s throat prior to going into the bedroom and allegedly setting all of his clothes on fire. Currently, Taylor is still being held in the Kane County Jail and is not allowed to see her husband or return home until further investigation.
