She received her degree in Public Policy and teaches Community Development, Public Speaking and Communications Law to youth throughout the nation.     When we took God out of schools, the teaching of moral relativity has lead to this. But, let’s be clear, while we wish to protect children from negative things, there is a point where we also need to teach our children the hard lessons in life. Not everyone is going to like you. Not everyone is going to be nice and kind to you. People will disagree with you and you need to learn how to cope when bad things happen. You need to learn to stand up for yourself so you can ask for and receive a raise or credit when you do something good as well as to not allow bullies to take your power and peace away. There will always be bullies. At some point, you have to learn how to live in a world where they exist. I am a 56 year old women in tech. I have been told for nearly 20 years that I was too old for tech positions. No one would hire me and to train in another career. Well, I am much older, still working in tech and still getting jobs despite those who, well meaning or not, told me to give up my passion.
