A mother recently shared her story of how her husband body shamed their 3-year-old daughter and then got angry with her for correcting his behavior, according to Café Mom.
The mother did not disclose her name in her post, but she did share her story of how her husband called their daughter ‘nasty’ after she ran around the house in the buff. When the father called the young child nasty, the mother immediately stopped him by stating that he should have told her to put pants on because it was cold around the house, not because it was something nasty.
The father became angry that the mother corrected him in front of their child and then scolded the mother for doing so. The mom took to Twitter and had overwhelming support of other moms who felt she did the right thing. “I explained to my husband that we should not use the word ‘nasty’ as I didn’t want our daughter to feel shame about her body,” the mother wrote in her post.
