Maybe Trump should keep his campaign promise that Americans would not have to pay for the wall. No he is holding the country hostage as others are trying to have him keep his word.

Having been a federal worker for 17 years, and knowing that most are democrats doing a half azzed job at best, how the suck up system works, how inept and under qualified individuals get promoted over those who are more qualified, educated, and have worked harder and invested more to get ahead, and only because their skin color was not dark enough were passed over or did not receive appropriate recognition, I quit after 17 years of hard work. I found better things to do, received more respect, and found better rewards. To the federal workers who feel once hired they can never be subject to being laid off or not be paid when they are not working, I say tough toe nails. If you don’t like it, try to find your juicy health care benefits, more than ample retirement benefits, paid time off for anything, accumulated vacation times and all the other benefits I say go find the same in the real world. Most government employees are way over paid in benefits and pay and should be trimmed back. I have been in some federal offices where discrimination abounds and anybody that is not of dark skin, gets ignored, and requests ignore regardless of any proof they might have that their request is justified. Its just the system today. As a fellow coworker told me one day, there is no reason to complain or gripe about it because it falls on deaf ears, nobody will do anything about it, and Lyndon Johnson’s words ring true, after he signed his Great Society Legislation into office. That created a monster that will forever grow and can never be stopped.

I’m ok with Federal Employees having their job descriptions weighed against their pay and benefits compared to, and adjusted to match, their commercial counterparts.

I’ve been with my employer 14 years. If my spouse needed an at home caregiver, my salary wouldn’t be enough to cover it to start with, much less have a savings account large enough to cover it for a bit. I’m with DB. Quit gripping. Quit and try to find another job.

For the Veteran needing surgery. I’m not familiar enough with vet benefits and such to make an informed comment.

I want a border wall. I want the Democrats to stop being the illegal immigrant’s representative and start being the American citizen’s representative. I want my best interests, as an American citizen, to be top priority, instead of last priority, behind their own personal power plays.
